Arnold and His New Life in the US

Arnold has been in the United States for many years. He migrated there, together with his family. Although he knows that the economy in the US is much better than the Philippines, he also realizes that life in the Philippines is still better in a lot of other ways. One, his relatives are all here. They don't know anyone in the US and he fears that if something bad happens to any of them, no one might come to their rescue. Two, all his friends are in the Philippines, too. Arnold cannot start to imagine life without his buddies. Now, after many years of staying in the US, Arnold has proven himself right. Although he and his family have found new friends, life in the Philippines is just different - simply because it is really home. But Arnold remains supportive to his parents who are trying their best to give them a good life. Being a Nottingham caterer, his dad is slowly making name in the city where they live, while his mom teaches in a high school nearby. Arnold hopes to find something worthwhile to do in the near future.
