How I Go Coupon Shopping

posted on 13 November 2010

I started coupon shopping about eight months ago. We have since cut about four hundred dollars a month off of our grocery bill! Is it time consuming? Somewhat, but can you imagine having an extra four hundred dollars a month! That is close to five thousand dollars a year! Perhaps it is time to save for that romantic getaway the two of you have not had since your honeymoon! Pack your favorite plus size lingerie, price airline tickets or cruise tickets, and sneak away. Lots of people are finding ways to cut spending. However, even if you do not have to cut spending, it is fun to dream about what you could splurge on if you did cut back. Some people ask us if we are eating weird. No, we are eating better than we ever have before: fresh fruits and vegetables every day, organic beef, all natural chicken, etc.& nbsp It is worth it!

Make an Outfit Last, Keep a Simple Shawl in Your Stash

posted on 10 September 2010

I love to travel but I often find I pack too much. Dilemma right? How can I create lots of style options, such as dressy blouses and tops, AND keep my look fresh without overloading my bags or my wallet. It finally hit me I’ll get a shawl. A shawl is the perfect fashion accessory for women. It isn’t as bulky as a sweater so you can actually stuff on in your purse. I actually have a great grey shawl that I can wear with everything. It has long sleeves that are so easy to roll up when it’s hot or roll down when I’m cool. I had a light lunch with friends the other day and I was able to roll my sleeves up and look chic and casual. While lather that night I could add a belt close my shawl and give a completely different look. A shawl makes for versatility in a woman’s wardrobe, and is a definite fashion do.
