Cleaning the house is not something many people fancy doing and that is why in most cases, you will find people hiring professional cleaners like maids to the cleaning for them. When I visited mom and dad last weekend, I brought Johnny with me. Johnny is my boyfriend of five years. It was not his first time to meet my folks. He spent Christmas with my family last year and the year before that. What's special about this visit though, is that we were planning to announce our engagement. There should be no problem because my parents adore Johnny and my little brother likes him, too. As usual, mom prepared a nice dinner for everyone and when finally we made the announcement, my dad proposed a toast right away. While we were having dinner, a lot of things were talked about, but mostly it was about the wedding which was set early next year. I told them I wanted to spend the honeymoon in Hawaii because I just love the beach and there was this one hotel-resort in Hawaii complete with cottages using Heritage roofing that I so love to see. They were all just happy for me and Johnny. It felt good to share something special with people who matter the most to me. |

A garden is a place where silence is all around us. The silence around the garden and inside us is just like gif from God. Another of God's gifts are children, and it's in the garden where they often play.
My grandfather is a retired military man and he spends much of his time in his garden. The sound of the trees and bird call I hear when I am with my grandfather make me assume that they too are included in my family. The season change occurs every 3 months, giving my garden a makeover each time.
In the summer months, we erect a gazebo where we sit under the shade and read newspapers, books - or just sit back with our eyes shut and listen to the soundtrack of those trees and birds and feel ourselves at one with nature. It is those moments that we are truly happy. |

I am 27 years old and have moved house 5 times in the past 7 years. I moved from apartment to apartment in college and then eventually back home. The one thing that moving requires is a lot of energy. Kitchens have a lot of heavy white goods, so muscle power is required for those particular objects to be packed away. In order for a move to go smoothly make sure you sleep well, have energy drinks near by and people with high energy to help. If you don't have these three things the following can happen:
1. Bad nights sleep: You are super cranky and everyone makes you carry the heavy stuff.
2. No Energy Drinks: After the first hour of excitement the day starts to drag. The energy you had from your sleep is not valid. You again become cranky and irritable. Make sure you have that energy drink on supply. You can always crash later. It might be better that way because you probably won't have time to set up your bed the first day. It will make it easier to fall asleep anywhere.
3. Low Energy Friends: They will complain and bring you down. Don't let it happen. The End. |
